1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MetaveosJobs platform ("Platform"), operated by MetaveosJobs ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By registering an account, posting a job, applying for a job, or otherwise accessing any part of the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Use of the Platform
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive job listings or candidate profiles.
- Collect or harvest personal data of other users without their consent.
- Transmit any unsolicited commercial communication (spam) to other users.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its related systems.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software component of the Platform.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform without our written consent.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.
3. Accounts
3.1 Registration
You must be at least 18 years old to register an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to keep this information up to date.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at our Contact page if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access due to your failure to secure your credentials.
3.3 One Account per User
Each user may maintain only one account of each type (candidate or employer). Creating duplicate accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions is prohibited.
4. Candidate Terms
- You confirm that all information in your profile and applications is truthful and accurate.
- You grant MetaveosJobs the right to display your profile to registered employers for recruitment purposes.
- You understand that submitting an application does not guarantee employment or an interview.
- You acknowledge that hiring decisions are made solely by the employer, not by MetaveosJobs.
- You may withdraw a submitted application only if the employer has not yet reviewed it.
- You are solely responsible for verifying the legitimacy of any employer or job offer.
5. Employer Terms
- You confirm that your company is a legitimate legal entity and that you are authorised to post jobs on its behalf.
- All job listings must be for genuine, legal employment opportunities.
- Job listings must not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- You agree to treat candidate data with strict confidentiality and use it solely for recruitment purposes.
- You must not re-sell, share, or use candidate data for any purpose other than evaluating their application.
- MetaveosJobs reserves the right to remove any job listing that violates these Terms without prior notice or refund.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, resumes, job descriptions). By submitting content, you grant MetaveosJobs a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the Platform for the purpose of providing our services.
You are solely responsible for all content you post. MetaveosJobs does not endorse any user content and is not liable for any content posted by users.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion.
7. Intellectual Property
The Platform and all its original content (excluding user-submitted content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of MetaveosJobs. Our trademarks, logos, and service marks may not be used without our express written permission.
8. Payments & Subscriptions
- Premium features for employers are available via paid subscription plans.
- All fees are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated and are exclusive of applicable taxes.
- Subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected period (monthly or annually).
- Refunds are provided only as required by applicable law or at our sole discretion within 7 days of purchase if no job listings were posted under the plan.
- We reserve the right to change pricing at any time with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
9. Disclaimer
The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. MetaveosJobs does not warrant that:
- The Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- Job listings are accurate, complete, or current.
- Any particular job seeker will be hired or any job listing will receive applications.
MetaveosJobs is a marketplace connecting job seekers and employers. We are not a recruitment agency and do not guarantee employment outcomes.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MetaveosJobs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Platform.
- Any conduct or content of third parties on the Platform.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other reason.
You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised Terms on this page with an updated "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, via email. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
